A business was torn apart due to an accident that recently occurred. The car crash injured four people, including the driver who allegedly crashed his vehicle into a Colorado building. The suspect was hospitalized in critical condition.
The crash reportedly happened on a recent Saturday morning at Accent Optics. According to reports, the driver was operating at an excessive rate of speed when his vehicle careened into the building. After the crash, authorities left the vehicle inside of the building to make sure the structure was durable enough before removing it. Authorities say they determined that there was no indication the driver tried to divert away from or stop the vehicle from crashing into the building.
Three individuals who were inside of the building were injured and transported to the hospital. The owner of the business was among those injured and she is listed in critical condition. Authorities do not believe that alcohol was a contributing factor, but the presence of drugs is a possibility.
A car crash can bring on a number of physical and financial burdens for injured victims. The victims in this accident are likely experiencing pain and suffering associated with their injuries and may need to continue treatment once released from the hospital. Those who were injured in the crash may be eligible to file personal injury claims as appropriate legal remedies to recoup damages. The civil court system in Colorado may award damages as deemed appropriate based upon evidence that substantiates the plaintiff’s claims that the driver acted in a negligent manner.
